AUJEF, which published its first issue in 1984, is a blind peer-reviewed, open-access, free-of-charge international scientific academic journal published in educational sciences four times a year (March, June, September, and December).

Announcement
As of volume 9 in 2025, AUJEF will be published only in English. Article review processes are carried out only in English. Manuscripts that are not full-text in English at the first submission will be returned to the author. Authors of manuscripts already submitted to AUJEF and currently under review will be asked to provide English versions of the final version of their manuscripts and the manuscripts will be published in English. After the English review process, authors may, but are not required to, include full texts in German, French, and Turkish in addition to the full text in English.

Announcement
- As of April 2023, AUJEF has decided to publish 50% of the studies in foreign languages.
- The articles that have already been sent to the journal and that are in the evaluation process are given the opportunity to have translations and continue the re-evaluation process upon the request of the authors.
