This research takes discourses from both Palestinians and Israelis using commentaries in newspapers on the Israel-Palestine conflict, with a special focus on the Gaza conflict. Through Wei Wang’s textual, intertextual, and contextual analysis methodology and within the framework of Critical Discourse Analysis, the current research studies the use of discourse in two leading papers, Israel Hayom and Al-Quds, during the period between May 2023 to January 2025, to frame the perception of the people of both societies. The analysis explores linguistic choices, rhetorical strategies, and socio-political contexts to reveal the ideologies in these media representations. The study aims to identify national and international attitudes toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and, therefore, contribute to the development of CDA by providing insight into how media outlets retell the same events from polar opposite perspectives.
