Migration and ageing are multifaceted processes that affect individuals' socioeconomic status, access to healthcare services, and social integration. With the global population ageing, older migrants have become an increasingly important yet still underrepresented group in both migration literature and ageing studies. This study aims to evaluate the living conditions of older Turkish migrants—one of the largest migrant groups in the Netherlands—within the framework of the life course perspective. To this end, recent theoretical and empirical studies focusing on the relationship between ageing and migration have been examined through a traditional literature review method. The life course perspective allows for a holistic analysis of older migrants’ experiences by considering the interactions between individual and societal factors and how these evolve over time. Within this theoretical framework, the study first presents a general evaluation of older migrant populations and then focuses specifically on the living conditions of older Turks residing in the Netherlands. The analysis addresses key issues such as income and housing, health status, language barriers, loneliness, sense of belonging, and social participation, and provides policy suggestions aimed at improving these conditions. The study underscores the importance of integrated social policies to ensure better living conditions for older migrants. Such policies are expected to include language support, culturally sensitive care services, programs that promote social inclusion, and efforts to strengthen the transnational ties of older individuals.
