This paper focuses on SDG 4 "Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all" (SDG 4), one of the Presidential Sustainable Development Goals. It addresses main topics such as promoting inclusion and equity in education, supporting early childhood development and developing technical skills. The paper introduces detailed and comprehensive weekly lesson plans designed to achieve these goals and proposes a 45-hour training programme to be conducted by Başakşehir District Directorate of National Education. The aim of the programme is to enable teachers to implement educational strategies that support sustainable development in the field through these lessons. The paper also emphasises the relationship between education and economic development and provides examples of how education supports the principles of sustainable development. In this context, the effects of increasing quality and equity in education on economic development are analysed and the challenges and solutions encountered in this process are discussed.
