Şaraplık Üzüm (Vitis vinifera L.) Yetiştiriciliğinde Asma Taç Yönetimi Uygulamalarının Önemi

Öz

Asma taç yönetimi uygulamaları özellikle şaraplık üzüm yetiştiriciliğinde, asmanın ürün verimini uygun hale getirmek, üzüm kalitesini arttırmak, hastalık riskini azaltmak ve bağda yapılan diğer işlemleri kolaylaştırmak amacı ile kullanılmaktadır. Bahsedilen bu hedeflerin gerçekleştirilmesinde, genellikle sürgünlerin yönlendirilmesi, sürgün seyreltme, uç alma, yaprak alma ve salkım seyreltme gibi uygulamalar kullanılmakta ve asma tacı mikro iklim özellikleri iyileştirilmektedir. Dolayısıyla, asma tacı mikro iklim özelliklerinde görülen bu iyileşme ile üzümde şeker birikimi ve asit dengesi oluşumu teşvik edilirken; fenolik maddelerin oluşumu arttıracak metoksipirazin seviyesi azalırken, aroma ve tat bileşiklerinin oluşumu artacaktır. Sonuç olarak, taç yönetimi uygulamaları şaraplık üzüm yetiştiriciliğinde üzüm kalitenin yükseltilmesi açısından faydalı bir araçtır.

Importance of Grapevine Canopy Management Practices in Wine Grape (Vitis vinifera L.) Growing

Öz

Canopy management practices of grapevine is especially used in wine grape growing to optimize crop yield of grapevine, increase grape quality, decrease the risk of disease and facilitate other vineyard operations. In order to perform these mentioned objectives, practices of shoot positioning, shoot thinning, hedging, leaf removal and cluster thinning etc. is generally used and microclimatic characteristics of grapevine canopy is improved. Because of this, sugar accumulation and acid balance in grape will be promoted, formation of phenolic compounds will be increased, level of methoxypyrazines will be decreased and formation of aroma and flavor compounds will be increased by this improvement in microclimatic characteristics of grapevine canopy. As a result, canopy management practices of grapevine in wine grape growing is a useful tool for enhancing of grape quality.
