Starking Delicious Elma Çeşidinde Alar-85 (Daminozide) Uygulamasının Meyve Kalitesi Üzerine Etkisi

Öz

Yalova Atatürk Bahçe Kültürleri Araştırma Enstitüsünde 1981 ve 1982 yılarında yapılan araştırmada, Starking Delicious elma çeşidinde; 500, 750 ve 1000 ppm dozlarında hasattan 8-10 hafta önce uygulanan Alar-85’in (Succinic acid 2,2 dimethylhdrazide) meyve kalitesi ve depolamaya etkisi incelenmiştir. Hasattan 9-10 hafta (65-75 gün) önceki 1000 ppm’lik (100 g/100 lt) uygulamanın meyve zemin renginde olumlu etki yaparak kırmızı üst renk oluşumunda artışı teşvik ettiği ve bu uygulamada hasadın kontrollere göre 10-14 gün geciktiği saptanmıştır. Alar-85 uygulaması ile kullanılan dozlara paralel olarak hasat önü dökümler azalırken, sürgün gelişimi üzerinde önemli etki görülmemiştir. Alar-85 uygulamalarının depolama süresince meyve kalitesindeki değişimlere olumsuz etkisi saptanmamıştır.

Effect of Alar-85 (Daminozide) on Fruit Quality of Starking Delicious Apple

Öz

Fruit quality and subsequent storage effects of Alar-85 (Succinic add 2,2-dimenthylhydrazide-also known as Daminozide) at 500, 750 and 1000 ppm concentrations applied 8-10 Weeks prior to harvest were investigated on Starking Delicious apples at Atatürk Horticultural Research Institute, Yalova, between 1981 and 1982. Application of Alar at 1000 ppm 9-10 weeks (65-75 days) before harvest increased the red color of the peel and delayed the harvest by 10-14 days compared to control. While preharvest drop decreased with the increase in concentration no effect on shoot growth was ever observed. Alar application did not influence the storage potential of apples.
