Garsonların karşılaştığı problemleri analiz etmek için bulanık esnek küme tabanlı bir karar verme modeli

Öz

Bu çalışma, restoran ortamında garsonların karşılaştığı çok kriterli karar verme problemlerini çözmek amacıyla bulanık esnek küme tabanlı bir model önermektedir. Modelin temel amacı, müşteri tercihleri, servis süresi ve yemek özellikleri gibi belirsizlik içeren kriterleri matematiksel olarak değerlendirerek en uygun yemek önerisinin belirlenmesini sağlamaktır. Bu kapsamda çalışma, bulanık küme teorisi, esnek küme teorisi ve bulanık esnek küme kavramlarını teorik altyapı olarak ele almaktadır. Çalışmada, garsonların karşılaştığı iletişim problemleri, zaman yönetimi zorlukları, müşteri memnuniyetsizliği, operasyonel aksaklıklar ve iş yüküne bağlı psikolojik sorunlar incelenmiştir. Bu problemlerin genellikle eğitim eksikliği, yoğun çalışma temposu ve iletişim yetersizliğinden kaynaklandığı belirtilmiştir. Ayrıca eğitim, standart hizmet prosedürleri, teknoloji destekli sistemler ve personel planlaması gibi çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Önerilen modelde restoran menüsü evrensel küme, yemek özellikleri ise parametre kümesi olarak tanımlanmış ve karar verme matrisi oluşturulmuştur. Model uygulamasında müşteri tercihleri ve zaman kısıtı dikkate alınarak en uygun menü kombinasyonu belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar, bulanık esnek küme yaklaşımının çok kriterli karar verme problemlerinde etkili ve uygulanabilir bir yöntem olduğunu göstermektedir

A Fuzzy Soft Set-Based Decision-Making Model for Analyzing Problems Encountered by Waiters

Öz

This study proposes a fuzzy soft set-based decision-making model to solve multi-criteria decision-making problems encountered by waiters in restaurant environments. The main aim of the model is to determine the most appropriate meal recommendation by mathematically evaluating uncertain criteria such as customer preferences, service time, and meal characteristics. Within this scope, the study adopts fuzzy set theory, soft set theory, and fuzzy soft set concepts as its theoretical foundation. The study examines common problems faced by waiters, including communication difficulties, time management challenges, customer dissatisfaction, operational disruptions, and workload-related psychological stress. It is emphasized that these problems generally arise from insufficient training, heavy workload, and lack of communication skills. Additionally, solution approaches such as training-based improvements, standardized service procedures, technology-supported systems, and staff planning are proposed. In the proposed model, the restaurant menu is defined as the universal set, while meal characteristics are considered as the parameter set, and a decision matrix is constructed. In the application phase, the most suitable menu combination is determined by considering customer preferences and time constraints. The results show that the fuzzy soft set approach is an effective and applicable method for multi-criteria decision-making problems.
