Ortaöğretim Kimya Dersi Öğretim Programında Periyodik Sistem ile İlgili Kavramların Veriliş Sırasının İncelenmesi (A.B.D ve Türkiye Örneği)

Öz

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’nin Ortaöğretim 10.sınıf Kimya Dersi Öğretim programında yer alan periyodik sistem ile ilgili ünitedeki öğrenci kazanımlarında belirtilen temel kavramların ne kadar detayda öğretildiği, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nin Virginia ve Georgia eyaletlerinin uyguladığı kimya içerik standartları ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Periyodik cetvel ile ilgili kavram ve prensiplerin Amerika’nın Virginia ve Georgia eyaletlerinin kimya içerik standartlarını bir bütün içinde öğretmeye çalıştığı, Türkiye’nin programında ise çok fazla detaya inildiği saptanmıştır

An Examinatıon Of The Order Of Concepts Related To Periodic System In The Secondary Education Chemistry Course Teaching Program (The Case For Usa and Turkey)

Öz

In this study, a comparison is made between the standards of chemistry contents implemented in the States of Georgia and Virginia, USA and how details the basic concepts, stated in the students’ gains in the unit related to periodic system in the secondary education 10th grade’s chemistry course program in Turkey, are taught. It is found that whereas in the States of Georgia and Virginia, USA, the concepts and principles in the periodic table are taught on the whole, in Turkey, teaching goes too details
