Examination of the Relationship Between Autonomy, Attachment Styles, Mindfulness and Emotion Regulation

Öz

The aim of this study was to examine the predictive effect on the autonomy of attachment styles, mindfulness and emotion regulation in emerging adulthood. The sample of the research consisted of 601 students who continue their education at Atatürk University in 2015-2016 years. Mindfulness Scale, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Three Dimensional Attachment Styles Scale and Sociotropy-Autonomy Scale were used to collect data. Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression were used in the analysis of data. According to the findings of the research, in correlational analysis autonomy, attachment styles, mindfulness and emotion regulation were found positively and negative related to. Another result of the research attachment styles, mindfulness and emotion regulation were determined that predictor in significant level of autonomy.

Özerklik, Bağlanma Stilleri, Bilinçli Farkındalık ve Duygu Düzenleme Arasındaki İlişkilerin İncelenmesi

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı beliren yetişkinlikte bağlanma stilleri, bilinçli farkındalık ve duygu düzenlemenin özerklik üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2015-2016 yılları arasında Atatürk Üniversitesi’nde öğrenim gören 601 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada verilerin toplanmasında Bilinçli Farkındalık Ölçeği, Duygusal Düzenleme Ölçeği, Üç Boyutlu Bağlanma Ölçeği ve Sosyotropi-Otonomi Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler Pearson korelasyon katsayısı ve çoklu doğrusal regresyon ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda özerklik ile bağlanma stilleri, bilinçli farkındalık ve duygu düzenleme puanları arasında anlamlı ilişkilerin olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca araştırmanın diğer bir sonucunda bağlanma stilleri, bilinçli farkındalık ve duygu düzenleme değişkenlerinin özerklik değişkeni üzerinde yordayıcı etkilere sahip olduğu saptanmıştır.
