In this study, it was aimed to examine the role of mothers' parenting stress level and life satisfaction in predicting life satisfaction of children aged 5-6 years. The study group of the research consists of 290 5-6-year-old children and their mothers who are volunteering to participate and study in Aydın province in the 2021-2022 academic year. Personal Information Form, Life Satisfaction Scale-Child Form (Bağcı Çetin & Buluş, 2023), Parental Stress Scale (Kaymak Özmen & Özmen, 2012) and Adult Life Satisfaction Scale (Kaba, Erol & Güç, 2018) were used as data collection tools. Pearson correlation and regression analysis techniques were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the correlation analysis, it was found that there was a positive significant relationship between the child's life satisfaction and the mother's parenting stress level, and a positive significant relationship between the child's life satisfaction and the mother's life satisfaction with the sub-dimensions of general life satisfaction, relationship satisfaction, self-satisfaction, social environment satisfaction, and job satisfaction. seen. As a result of regression analysis, it was determined that the mother's parenting stress level and life satisfaction together predicted the child's life satisfaction variability by 23%.
