The Asian long-horned beetle (ALB), Anoplophora glabripennis (Motschulsky), is a polyphagous
sapwood borer cerambycid beetle found in many hardwood species and capable of
killing healthy trees. ALB is a native Asian pest but as a result of
international trade, it is introduced to new places.
According to the
observations, It’s
mainly occuring in China,
Japan, Korea; less occuring in Malaysia, Myanmar,
Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia
and Philippines; invasive
species occuring; North America, Canada,
Denmark, Holland,
France, Italy, Romania.
The main purpose of eradication applications
are detection, identification and success of control.
We can list the studies about ALB until today as; ALB
detected countries, epidemi mechanism,
ALB detected
regions,
control methods, how
it transfers and, which tree species are affected
, international
efforts to prevent new introductions.
These studies have been reviewed to
express control strategies of the ALB which spreads between countries by solid
wood packaging, decorating plants and small trees as a trade.

Asian long-horned beetle (ALB), Anoplophora
glabripennis
Vietnam, Endonezya ve Filipinler; istilacı tür olarak görüldüğü ülkeler ise;
