Öz
Son yıllarda gelişen işletmecilik anlayışları doğrultusunda işletmelerin yaşamında
saygın bir yer elde edebilmeleri ve başarılı olabilmeleri için işletmecilik uygulamalarında toplumsal sorumluluk ve etik konusu öne çıkmaktadır. Hızla değişen iş
dünyasında farklı kültürel ortamlara bağlı kalmaksızın, iş etiği ile ilgili eğitim-öğretim ve araştırma faaliyetlerinin sürekli devam ettirilmesi önem kazanmaktadır. Bu
bağlamda yapılan çalışma, Kırgızistan, Türkiye, Azerbaycan ve Kazakistan özelinde
geleceğin potansiyel girişimcileri, liderleri ve yöneticileri olan işletme bölümü öğrencilerinin iş etiğine yönelik tutumları ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç
doğrultusunda, Kırgızistan – Türkiye Manas Üniversitesi (n=97), Haliç Üniversitesi
(n=96), Azerbaycan Devlet İktisat Üniversitesi (n=114) ve Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Üniversitesi’nde (n=100) İşletme eğitimi görmekte olan 407 öğrenci üzerine bir anket
uygulanmış ve karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Genel olarak öğrencilerin iş etiği konusunda
bilinçli oldukları ve ülkeler arası etik tutumlarında anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bilgiler, işletme alanında eğitim veren
kurumlar ve iş dünyasındaki gelecek kuşak girişimci ve yöneticiler açısından önem
taşımaktadır.
