Due to the coronavirus pandemic process we are in, it is necessary to make an evaluation by
gathering the studies under common themes to look at different types of hybrid learning
applications from a general perspective. For this study, in Turkey, 30 academic studies took
place between the years 2015 to 2020 were selected. These studies were evaluated within the
framework of 9 different themes and 23 sub-concepts. The positive effects of hybrid
applications on attitudes and academic achievement have been observed in the studies. Rarely,
the effect of gender factor and education level has been observed. In some studies, the effect
of hybrid learning applications on the permanence of learning has been observed, but the
prolongation of the application process eliminated the significant effects. Constraints such as
physical space, time and cost hindered the efficient realization of the activities, and sometimes
the trainers did not have the necessary training formation for these activities and felt themselves
inadequate. In addition, it has been observed that time constraints and grading for applications
can divert activities from the purpose of education. As a result of the research, the necessity of
making comprehensive planning that includes the needs and demands of all stakeholders before
the implementation in order to implement hybrid applications effectively and efficiently in the
education system has come to the fore and recommendations have been made accordingly.
