Effects of some insecticides on the adult emergence of sunn pest egg parasitoids Trissolcus spp. (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae)
Öz
In this study, the effects of most commonly used insecticides, Fenitrothion and Zetacypermethrin in order to control sunn pest, the most important pest of cereal to preimaginal stages of egg parasitoid (Trissolcus spp.) of sunn pest were determined under laboratory and field condition between 2003-2005 years.
Both EC and ULV formulations of these insecticides was found to be effective with 100 % ratio on adult emergence under laboratory conditions and assessed as harmful. As for field conditions, EC formulations were found to be effective at 20.20-28.18 % ratio, ULV formulations were found to be effective at 30.19-38.66 % ratio and these ratios were evaluated as moderately harmful. In both conditions, after insecticides applications, parasitoid carried on their growth in the eggs of sunn pest, but deaths were determined as a result of penetrated insecticides into eggs and contacting of parasitoids, emerging from eggs, with residues on eggs' surface.Anahtar Kelimeler
