EKSTREM SPOR TÜKETİM ÖLÇEĞİNİN GELİŞTİRİLMESİ VE PSİKOMETRİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ekstrem spor tüketim ölçeğinin geçerliğini ve güvenirliği kanıtlamaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilgili literatürün incelenmesi ve araştırma kapsamında gerçekleştirilen odak grup çalışması sonucunda elde edilen ekstrem spora katılım boyutları ölçek kapsamına dahil edilerek ölçeğin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması yapılmıştır. Ölçek, Türkiye’nin belirli illerindeki ekstrem spor tesislerinden yararlanan ve kolayda örneklemi yöntemi ile seçilmiş olan bireyler üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin içerik geçerliği uzman görüşü , yakınsak geçerliği en düşük faktör yük değeri 0,363 en yüksek 0,819 , ayrışma/dış geçerliği tüm faktörlerde pozitif yönde düşük ve orta düzeyde ilişki ve yapı geçerliği 8 faktörlü ve 38 maddeli sınamaları yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirliği ile ilgili ise iç tutarlılık katsayısı olan Cronbach Alpha’dan 0,890 analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Açıklayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda karar verilen sekiz boyutlu yapının doğruluğunun sınanması amacıyla doğrulayıcı faktör analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda Ekstrem Spor Tüketim Ölçeği ESTÖ ’nin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu ve dolayısıyla araştırmanın amacına ulaşıldığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

DEVELOPMENT AND PSYCHOMETRIC EVALUATION OF EXTREME SPORT CONSUMPTION SCALE

Öz

The aim of this research is to prove the validity and reliability of extreme sports consumption scale. Accordingly, validity and reliability study of the scale were carried out adding the dimensions of participating in extreme sports obtained from the focus group study performed within scope of the examination of related literature and the research to the scope of the scale. The scale was applied on the individuals who utilize the extreme sports facilities in some provinces in Turkey and were chosen with convenience sampling method. The content validity of the scale expert opinion , convergent validity the lowest factor load value is 0.363, the highest is 0.819 , differentiation/external validity positive relationship on low and medium level in all factors and structure validity 8-factor and 38-item were tested. The internal consistency coefficient Cronbach's Alpha 0.890 analysis was used for the reliability of the scale. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the accuracy of the eight-dimension structure agreed as a result of the explanatory factor analysis. As a result of the analyses performed, it was concluded that Extreme Sports Consumption Scale ESCS is a valid and reliable measuring tool; therefore, the goal of the research was achieved
