Rapid changes with world of work, identifying factors that foster career adaptability is essential for young adults. This study examined whether career locus of control, career distress, and perceived social support predict career adaptability among university students. Participants were 367 students (291 women, 76 men) from various universities in Ankara, Türkiye. Measures included the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale–Short Form, Career Locus of Control Scale, Career Distress Scale, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and a demographic form. With internality, the explained variance increased to 27%, and with perceived social support, it reached 29%.

Yalnızca kariyer sıkıntısı modele alındığında açıklanan varyans %18 iken, içselliğin eklenmesiyle %27’ye, algılanan sosyal desteğin eklenmesiyle %29’a yükselmiştir.
