Ultrasound is a relatively new clinical tool that is becoming increasingly popular in the field of speech-language therapy. Using ultrasound as visual feedback can be utilised in screening, assessing, diagnosing, and intervening speech, voice, and swallowing disorders. Ultrasound visual feedback stands out with its advantages such as not requiring a surgical procedure, providing a real-time image, allowing use in a comfortable position, can be used in different age groups, painless and portable. However, the lack of a universal opinion on its application in both the evaluation and intervention process causes uncertainties regarding the use of ultrasound. In this context, based on the studies in the literature, this study presents information on the clinical and theoretical use of ultrasound visual feedback methods in speech and language therapy.
