ChatGPT’nin İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği Eğitimine Yansımaları

Öz

Son zamanlarda ismini sıkça duyduğumuz yapay zekâ destekli sohbet robotlarından biri ChatGPT’dir. Bu sohbet robotu; yapay zekâ dil modelinde geliştirilen, diyaloglara katılma ve sorulara yanıt verme özelliği olan bir metin oluşturucusudur. Günümüzde yaygın olan bu araç; öğrenciler tarafından birçok farklı amaçla kullanılmaktadır. Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin ilk dönemden itibaren tıbbi terminolojiye maruz kalmaları ve bakım planı becerisinin gelişimi öğrenciler tarafından zorlanılan bir durumdur. İlerleyen dönemlerde öğrencilerden; hastalık, tedavi, fizyopatoloji ve ilaç gibi konuları bakım planına entegre edebilmeleri beklenmektedir. Zorlanılan bu gibi durumlarda öğrenciler kanıt değeri yüksek bilgiye/klavuzlara ve bakım planı örneklerine yer-zaman fark etmeden ulaşım sağlayabilir. Ayrıca iç hastalıkları hemşireliği dersi gibi kritik hastalıkların uygulamadaki erişim zorluğunda destekleyici yöntem olan simülasyon ve sanal hasta uygulamalarına sohbet robotları eklenerek öğrencilerin hemşirelik girişim, beceri ve rollerin geliştirilmesinde, değerlendirilmesinde öğretim elemanları da yararlanabilir.

Reflections of ChatGPT on Internal Medicine Nursing Education

Öz

One of the artificial intelligence-supported chat robots that we have heard frequently lately is ChatGPT. This chatbot; It is a text generator developed on the artificial intelligence language model, with the feature of participating in dialogues and answering questions. This tool, which is common today; It is used by students for many different purposes. It is a challenge for nursing students to be exposed to medical terminology and develop care plan skills from the first semester. In the following periods, students; They are expected to be able to integrate issues such as disease, treatment, physiopathology and medication into the care plan. In such difficult situations, students can access information/exposés with high evidence value and care plan examples regardless of time or place. In addition, by adding chat robots to simulation and virtual patient applications, which are supportive methods for the difficulty of accessing critical diseases in practice, such as the internal medicine nursing course, faculty members can also benefit from the development and evaluation of students' nursing initiatives, skills and roles.
