A Research on the Inclinations of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Personality Characteristics of Students

Entrepreneurship can be defined as a capability that realizes the opportunities created by environment paradigms and that transforms these opportunities into projects, and that live these projects and transfer all these as well as produce richness. In this process, there are a great many characteristics for successful entrepreneurs. In addition, the spirit of entrepreneurship can be available as a genetic code, families, jobs, environments as well as education which can be regarded as a significant component for the development of entrepreneurship spirit. In this study, the main objective is to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurship personality characteristics and entrepreneurship inclinations of the students in the department of Business Management. Therefore, a questionnaire was conducted on the students in the department of Business Management to test the hypothesis revealed. As a result of the study, it was determined that innovation, sensitivity, and opportunism are the pioneers of the entrepreneurship characteristics for the students while struggling against stress is the least level of characteristic for entrepreneurship. At the same time, in the study, the relationship was found out between entrepreneurship characteristics and gender, and also between participants’ family occupations and their entrepreneurship characteristics.

Öğrencilerin Girişimci Kişilik Özellikleri İle Girişimcilik Eğilimleri Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Öz

Girişimcilik, çevrenin yarattığı fırsatları sezme, bu fırsatları projelere dönüştürme, projeleri yaşama taşıma ve zenginlik üretme becerisi şeklinde tanımlanabilir. Bu süreçte başarılı girişimciler için ise birçok özellik tanımlanmaktadır. Kişide girişimcilik ruhu genetik olarak var olabileceği gibi aile, ailenin mesleği, çevre, eğitim de girişimcilik ruhunu geliştirmede önemli etkenlerdir. Bu çalışmada temel amaç işletme yönetimi bölümü öğrencilerinin girişimci kişilik özellikleri ve girişimcilik eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi analiz etmektir. Bu nedenle meslek yüksekokulu işletme yönetiminde öğrenim gören bölüm öğrencilerine araştırmada ileri sürülen hipotezleri test etmek amacıyla anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin girişimci kişilik özellikleri yenilikçilik, duyarlılık ve fırsatçılık şeklinde ortaya çıkmıştır. Strese karşı dayanma ise düşük düzeyde ortaya çıkan girişimci kişilik özellikleri arasındadır. Ayrıca çalışmada katılımcıların girişimcilik özellikleri ile cinsiyet değişkeni ve aile meslekleri ile girişimcilik özellikleri arasındaki istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
