Abstract

Hydatid Cyst is a parasitic disease. The host is usually the intestine of dog . Hydatid cyst is caused by water and food contaminated with parasites" larva. Primary intracranial cyst hydatids are rare. Approximately 75% of intracranial cyst hydatids are encountered in children. We report a pediatric case with intracerebral hydatid cyst occuring with a lower extremity involvement 5 months after the surgery with clinical,radiological and histopathological features.

Alt Ekstremiteye Yayılım Gösteren Primer Intrakranial Kist Hidatik: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Kist Hidatik paraziter bir hastalıktır. Ana konak genellikle köpeklerin bağırsağı olup parazit larvaları su ve kontamine yiyeceklerle bulaşır. İntrakranial yerleşimli kist hidatik nadirdir. İntrakranial kist hidatik olgularının yaklaşık %75'i çocuklarda izlenir. Bu yazımızda primer intrakranial tutulumu olan operasyondan 5 ay sonra alt ekstremite tutulumu izlenen pediatrik kist hidatik olgusu klinik, radyolojik ve histopatolojik verilerle sunulmuştur.
