THE MEDIATING ROLE OF ORGANIZATIONAL DISSENT AND THE MODERATING ROLE OF ORGANIZATIONAL TRUST IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMPULSORY CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR AND JOB CRAFTING

Öz

This study aims to examine the mediating role of organizational dissent and the moderating role of organizational trust in the relationship between compulsory citizenship behavior and job crafting. In this context, data was obtained from 482 employees working in public institutions in Erzincan Municipal by survey method. The obtained data were analyzed using AMOS and SPSS programs. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that compulsory citizenship behavior increases employees' job crafting behaviors both directly and indirectly through organizational dissent. It was also found that organizational trust has a mediating role in the relationship between compulsory citizenship behavior and job crafting. In the literature, there is no study examining compulsory citizenship behavior, job crafting, organizational dissent and organizational trust together and dealing with the relationship between them. In addition, there is no study analyzing the mediating and moderating role performed with these scales. In this study, only public employees were studied. In this context, different results can be obtained by examining the levels of compulsory citizenship behavior, job crafting, organizational dissent and organizational trust on private sector employees.

Öz

Bu çalışmada, zorunlu vatandaşlık davranışı ve görev becerikliliği arasındaki ilişkide örgütsel muhalefetin aracılık rolü ve örgütsel güvenin düzenleyici rolünün bulunup bulunmadığı incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda, Erzincan Belediyesi’nde 482 çalışandan anket yöntemiyle veri elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler AMOS ve SPSS programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, zorunlu vatandaşlık davranışının görev becerikliliğini hem doğrudan artırdığı, hem de örgütsel muhalefet yoluyla dolaylı olarak artırdığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, örgütsel güvenin zorunlu vatandaşlık davranışı ve görev becerikliliği arasındaki ilişkide düzenleyici rolünün bulunduğu kaydedilmiştir. Literatürde zorunlu vatandaşlık davranışı, görev becerikliliği, örgütsel muhalefet ve örgütsel güven konularını bir arada inceleyen ve bunlar arasındaki ilişkiyi ele alan çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Ayrıca bu ölçeklerle yapılan aracılık ve düzenleyici rolü analiz eden çalışma da bulunmamaktadır. Bu araştırmada sadece kamu çalışanlarına yönelik çalışma yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda özel sektör çalışanları üzerinde zorunlu vatandaşlık, görev becerikliliği, örgütsel muhalefet ve örgütsel güven düzeyleri incelenerek farklı sonuçlar da elde edilebilir.
