Farklı CAD-CAM materyallerde ci̇la pati uygulamasının renklendi̇rme öncesi̇ ve sonrası pürüzlülük ve renk deği̇şi̇mleri̇ üzeri̇ne etki̇si

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın birinci amacı, final bitirme protokolünde pat uygulanması ya da uygulanmaması duru- munun nano-seramik veya zirkonya ile güçlendirilmiş lityum silikat yapıdaki iki farklı CAD/CAM materyalinin renk stabilitesi ve yüzey pürüzlülüğü üzerindeki etkisini incelemek; ikinci amacı ise yeniden parlatmanın bu malzemelerin renk stabilitesi ve yüzey pürüzlülüğü üzerindeki etkisini değerlendirmektir.
Yöntemler: Vita Suprinity (zirkonya ile güçlendirilmiş lityum silikat; Vita Zahnfabrik, Almanya) ve Cerasmart (na- no-seramik; GC, Tokyo, Japonya) CAD/CAM bloklar su soğutması altında 1mm kalınlığında kesilerek toplam 80 örnek elde edildi. İki alt gruba ayrılan örneklerden ilk yarısına yalnızca cila lastikleri (Vita Suprinity Polishing Set Technical, Bad Säckingen, Almanya ve Coltene Diatech Shape Guard Cila Sistemi, Coltene, Altstätten, İsviçre) ile mekanik par- latma, diğer yarısına ise mekanik parlatmaya ilaveten parlatma patı (Dia Polisher, GC, Japonya) kullanılarak polisaj yapıldı. Tüm örneklerin başlangıç renk ve pürüzlülük ölçümleri alındı. Ardından her grup distile su ve çayda bekle- tilmek üzere iki alt gruba daha ayrıldı. 20 gün sonunda renk ve pürüzlülük ölçümleri yapıldı. Tüm örneklere yeniden parlatma işlemi uygulanarak ve pürüzlülük ölçümleri tekrarlandı. Veriler Kruskal Wallis Tek yönlü varyans analizi ve Friedman İki Yönlü Varyans Analizi ile karşılaştırıldı. p<0,05 istatistiksel önemlilik için yeterli kabul edildi.
Bulgular: Örneklerin mekanik parlatma veya ek olarak pat polisajı uygulanması ile bitirilmesi Cerasmart ve Vita Suprinity materyallerinin renk ve yüzey pürüzlülük özellikleri üzerinde anlamlı farklılığa neden olmamıştır (p>0,05).
Sonuç: Mekanik parlatmaya ek olarak uygulanan pat ile polisaj işleminin, nano-seramik veya zirkonya ile güç- lendirilmiş lityum silikat CAD/CAM bloklar ile üretilen restorasyonların renk stabilitesi üzerinde etkisi bulunma- maktadır. Renklenmiş nano-seramik veya zirkonya ile güçlendirilmiş lityum silikat CAD/CAM restorasyonlara yeniden parlatma uygulanması için mekanik veya pat sistemlerinin her ikisi de tercih edilebilir.

ABSTRACT
Objective: The primary aim of this study is to examine the effect of applying or not applying paste in the final finishing protocol on the color stability and surface roughness of two different CAD/CAM materials in nano-ceramic or zirconia reinforced lithium silicate structure; the second purpose is to evaluate the effect of re-polishing on the color stability and surface roughness of these materials.
Methods: A total of 80 samples were obtained by cutting Vita Suprinity (Vita Zahnfabrik, Germany) and Cer- asmart (GC, Tokyo, Japan) CAD/CAM blocks at 1 mm thickness under water cooling. The samples divided into two subgroups, the first half was only mechanically polished with polishing rubbers (Vita Suprinity Polishing Set Technical, Bad Säckingen, Germany ve Coltene Diatech Shape Guard, Coltene, Altstätten, Switzerland), and the other half was polished using polishing paste (Dia Polisher, GC, Japan) in addition to mechanical pol- ishing. Initial color and roughness measurements of all samples were taken. Then, each group was divided into two subgroups to be kept in distilled water and tea. After 20 days, color and roughness measurements were made. After repolishing was applied to all samples, color and roughness measurements were repeated. Data were compared with Kruskal Wallis Test and Friedman Two Way Analysis of Varience by Ranks test. p<0.05 was considered sufficient for statistical significance.
Results: Finishing the samples with a mechanical polish or an additional paste applied to the polish did not cause a significant difference in the color and surface roughness properties of the Cerasmart and Vita Suprin- ity materials (p<0.05).
Conclusion: The application of paste polishing after mechanical polishing has no effect on the color stability of restorations produced with nano-ceramic or zirconia reinforced lithium silicate CAD/CAM blocks. For repol- ishing colored nano-ceramic or zirconia-reinforced lithium silicate CAD/CAM restorations, both mechanical polish or paste systems may be preferred.
