Phosphorus analysis and extraction of phosphorus can be considered the most important in the plant nutrients. Therefore different phosphorus extraction methods has become routine for acidic and alkaline soils. Due to the studies focus on multinutrient extraction methods and transition to the use of these methods, this issue have importance at the present time. This study is conducted at 13 locations in Thrace where the soil is both acidic (3) and alkaline(10). Soil and plant samples taken from the trials are analyzed and assessed. Bray and Kurtz method was used in acidic soils and Olsen method was used in alkaline soils for the routine phosphorus analysis. Mehlich-3, ammonium bicarbonate - DTPA (ABDTPA), acid ammonium acetate-EDTA (AAAC-EDTA) and Yanai methods was used as multinutrient extraction methods for all of the soil samples. Analysis results was obtained and correlation coefficient was calculated between routine methods and multinutrient extraction methods. Likewise, the relationship between routine and multinutrient extraction methods was determined by the amount of phosphorus in plant.
