THE ANALYSIS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT ASSESSMENT SCALE: A SAMPLE OF SCIENCE TEACHERS’ PROJECTS

Abstract

The aim of this research is to use the project assessment scale to analyze the assessments of the projects that science teachers –who attended to the “Project Based Science and Math Teaching” workshop - carried out and compare it with the scores which were gotten from the subscales. Assessment scale includes three subscales; a) Self assessment of the teachers’ project teams b) Peer assessment of the teachers c) The assessment of all teams by the jury. In the assessment part, three of them were used and the results were compared. Following the research; self evaluation scores of the teachers, peer evaluation scores and jury assessment scores were visualized as radar charts and the differences between them were clarified. With the help of the obtained graphics, each of the projects was analyzed and interpreted accordingly.
