INDIVIDUALS WITH A DISABILITY HEARING and THEORY OF MIND

Öz

The purpose of this study is to review studies which consist of theory of mind (ToM) characteristics of people with hearing disabilities. In the first part of the study, general features of ToM are described. In the second part of the study, studies which investigated ToM features of people with hearing disabilities are covered in detail. In the third part of the study, studies which investigated factors on ToM features of people with hearing disabilities are presented and finally studies which covered the relationship between language useage of children with hearing disabilities in their houses and relationship between ToM are presented.

İŞİTME ENGELİ OLAN BİREYLER VE ZİHİN KURAMI

Öz

Bu çalışmada işitme engeli olan bireylerin zihin kuramı özelliklerinin yer aldığı çalışmaların derlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde genel özellikleri ile zihin kuramı açıklanmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde işitme engeli olan bireylerin zihin kuramı özelliklerini inceleyen çalışmalar detaylı olarak ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde işitme engeli olan bireylerin zihin kuramı özelliklerinde etkili olabilecek faktörlerin incelendiği çalışmalara yer verilmiş ve son olarak işitme engeli olan çocukların evlerinde kullanılan dil ile zihin kuramı arasındaki ilişkiyi ele alan çalışmalara yer verilmiştir.
