Katı Yakıt Atıklarından Renk Pigmenti Elde Edilerek Tekstilde Renklendirici Olarak Kullanılması

Öz

Bu çalışmada, bertarafı oldukça zor olan katı yakıt atıklarından oluşan küllerden renk pigmentleri elde edilerek, kumaşların bu renk pigmentleriyle renklendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, yaklaşık 45-50 µm boyutuna öğütülüp elenen kül pigmentleriyle kumaşlar baskı yöntemiyle renklendirilmiştir. Renkli kumaşların SEM-EDX, ATR-FTIR analizleri yapılmıştır. Aynı zamanda renkli kumaşlara 5, 10, 15 ve 20 yıkama yapılarak mukavemet, boncuklanma ve aşınma, renk ölçümleri yapılmıştır. 20 yıkama sonunda FITIR-ATR analizinde karbon bağlarının varlığı, SEM-EDX analizinde ise arsenik ve karbon elementlerinin varlığı incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, uzaklaştırılması zor olan külün, kumaşların renklendirilmesinde sentetik boyarmaddelere alternatif bir renk pigmenti olarak değerlendirilebileceği öngörülmüştür.

Obtaining Color Pigment from Solid Fuel Waste and Its Application as a Textile Colorant

Öz

This study explores the extraction of color pigments from solid fuel waste ash, a challenging material to dispose of, and investigates its use in fabric coloration. To achieve this, fabrics were printed using ash-derived pigments, which were finely ground and sieved to a particle size of approximately 45-50 µm. Characterization of the colored fabrics was conducted using SEM-EDX and ATR-FTIR analyses. Additionally, fabric durability was assessed through repeated washing cycles (5, 10, 15, and 20 washes), with evaluations of strength, pilling, abrasion resistance, and color retention. After 20 washes, the presence of carbon bonds in FTIR-ATR analysis and arsenic and carbon elements in SEM-EDX analysis was confirmed. The findings suggest that ash, which is otherwise difficult to dispose of, holds potential as an alternative color pigment to synthetic dyes in fabric coloration.
