Globalization is a concept that emerged prominently in the 1980s and has affected all societies of the world in a short time. While opposing globalization with the aim and concern of protecting and preserving Islamic culture and religious values, as is the case all over the world, and showing this in the form of strict conservatism, others are trying to put forward an alternative defense method against globalization in the form of “glocalization.” Accordingly, it should be essential to understand and explain the religion in line with the requirements of the modern age, while still focusing on the essence and basic principles of Islam. For this to happen, education must be the basis and the scientific and technological data brought about by globalization must be instrumentalized. While the main theme of globalization is the economy in line with science and technology, its widespread reflection on social life has been in the cultural sphere. In this direction, globalization has had a significant impact on religious beliefs and practices. First of all, secularization, which is one of the main pillars of globalization, has changed the religious interpretations and approaches of the believers, and has led to a free and individual initiatory religious approach, especially in the dimension of individualization, not according to religious nasses, but in line with the individual’s own perception and understanding.
