Orman Üretimi, Kereste Çıkarımı ve Nakliyesi Konulu Literatürün Bilimsel Haritalandırılması (1980–2025)

Öz

Bu çalışma, 1980 ile 2025 yılları arasında yayımlanan akademik yayınlara odaklanarak tomruk üretimi/bölmeden çıkarma operasyonları üzerine kapsamlı bir bibliyometrik analiz sunmaktadır. Web of Science Core Collection’dan elde edilen bibliyometrik metaveriler, R ortamında bibliometrix/biblioshiny paketi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz; yayın eğilimlerini, üretken yazarları, önde gelen dergileri, anahtar kelime eş-ortaya çıkış ağlarını ve uluslararası işbirliği kalıplarını incelemiştir. Bulgular, zaman içerisinde araştırma faaliyetlerinde istikrarlı bir artış olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır: 2000 yılında yıllık yayın sayısı 104 iken, 2024’te 564’e yükselmiş; bu da %442,3’lük (≈4,42×) bir artışa karşılık gelmiştir. Bu alanda en çok yayın yapan ülkeler sırasıyla Amerika Birleşik Devletleri, Çin, Brezilya ve Kanada’dır. Veri setindeki en çok atıf alan makale ise 2004 yılında yayımlanmış olup günümüze kadar yaklaşık 500 atıf almıştır. Odun üretimi literatürünün araştırma dinamiklerini ve bilgi yapısını haritalamanın ötesinde, bu bibliyometrik çalışma aynı zamanda sektöre yönelik yeni eğilimleri de tanımlamaktadır. Bu eğilimler arasında dik yamaçlarda halat/vinç destekli sistemler, üretkenlik–maliyet modellemeleri, meşcere zararları ve sensör-/veri-temelli izleme (örneğin, derin öğrenme ve nesne tespiti) öne çıkmaktadır. Bu araştırmadan elde edilen içgörüler, ormancılık operasyonlarında yenilikleri geliştirmek isteyen akademisyenler, politika yapıcılar ve uygulayıcılar için değerli katkılar sunmaktadır.

Science Mapping the Literature on Forest Production, Timber Extraction, and Transport (1980–2025)

Öz

This study science-mapped the literature on forest production, timber extraction, and transport through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of SCIE-indexed articles published between 1980 and 2025. Bibliometric records were retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection and analyzed in RStudio using the Bibliometrix package via its Biblioshiny web interface. Publication dynamics and the field’s intellectual structure were characterized using annual publication trends, prolific authors and sources, keyword co-occurrence networks, and international collaboration patterns. The results indicated sustained growth in research output, with annual publications rising from 104 in 2000 to 564 in 2024 (+442.3%, ≈4.42×). The most productive countries were the United States, China, Brazil, and Canada. Overall, the analysis mapped the knowledge base, major thematic clusters, and evolving research fronts across the production–extraction–transport chain. The findings can help researchers working in forest production, timber extraction, and transport to better identify core themes and emerging directions and to position future studies more clearly within the field.
