THE APPROACHES TO THE PROCESS OF RESOURCE FINDING AND USING FOR THE NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS: APPLICATION OF ĠZMĠR PROVINCE

Öz

The approaches in the process of resource finding and using in nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and the study of their interaction with each other is the main goal of this study. The survey form prepared on this subject has been applied in over 136 individuals on 107 NGOs between February 2009June 2009 in İzmir. The result of the research generated the seven factors, namely, domastic and foreign, donor, project-external environment, institution‟s philosophy, accounting applications, human resources and management board factor. These factors perceived as important by the participants. We found that these factors had a positive relationship with each other at the medium and low levels. In addition to age, gender and educational status have no effect on the perceptions of these factors. On the other hand, the position in NGO, the duration of membership, and the type of membership in NGO have a different perspective on these factors

SİVİL TOPLUM KURULUŞLARININ KAYNAK BULMA VE KULLANMA SÜREÇLERİNDEKİ YAKLAŞIMLARI: İZMİR İLİ UYGULAMASI

Öz

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı sivil toplum kuruluşlarında (STK) kaynak bulma ve kullanma süreçlerindeki yaklaşımlar ve bu yaklaşımların birbirleriyle olan etkileşimlerinin incelenmesidir. Bu konuda hazırlanan anket formu Şubat 2009 – Haziran 2009 tarihlerinde İzmir İli‟nde yer alan STK‟lar kapsamında 107 STK‟da 136 birey üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda STK‟larda kaynak bulma ve kullanma sürecinde “yurt içi ve yurt dışı, donör, proje-dış çevre, kurum felsefesi, muhasebe uygulamaları, insan kaynağı ve yönetim kurulu faktörü” isimleri verilen yedi faktör oluşmuştur. Bu faktörlerin katılımcılar tarafından önemli olarak algılandığı ve faktörlerin birbirleriyle orta ve düşük düzeyde ancak pozitif yönde ilişki içerdiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca yaş, cinsiyet ve eğitim durumunun yedi faktöre bakışı etkilemediği, STK‟daki konum, STK‟daki üyelik süresi ve STK türünün ise farklı bakış açılarının olduğu belirlenmiştir
