The purpose of this study is to determine opinions the of the middle school students, high school students and team coaches who participating “First Lego League” competition about on tournament process, robot design, programming and cooperation in the frame of STEM education. In the research, case studies were used from qualitative research models. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. The groups of the study include 15 middle schools - high school students and 3 team coaches participating Ankara competition. The interview technique was used from qualitative data collection tools. The Semi-structured interview form consisting of six questions were used to identify the participants’ views. The codes were calculated as 95.60% for students and 90% for team coaches with Miles and Huberman percent compliance. It has been determined that robotics kits are fun and functional. Students are interested, motivated researching and promoting their scientific work by robotic kits. Team coaches' views are parallel to the students, and the competition process has some non-transparent criteria. Competition process should be evaluated as an indicator of competition’s marketing of Lego products. The Results show that STEM literacy dimensions expressed by Zollmann (2012) serve personal, social and economic needs and cognitive, emotional and psychomotor tendencies in competition.
