ÖRGÜTSEL DESTEK ALGISI İLE FİNANSAL KAYGI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ: FİNANSAL TEHDİDİN ROLÜ

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, bireylerin algıladıkları finansal tehdit düzeyi ile örgütsel destek algıları ve finansal kaygı düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Veri toplama sürecinde, demografik sorular ile finansal tehdit, finansal kaygı ve örgütsel destek algısı ölçeklerinden oluşan anket formu, çalışma hayatında bulunan 518 katılımcıya uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analiz sürecinde bağımsız örneklem t-testi, ANOVA testi, Pearson Korelasyon ve Regrasyon analizi kullanılarak finansal tehdit, finansal kaygı ve örgütsel destek algısı değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bu değişkenlerin demografik faktörlere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgularda, finansal tehdit sürecinin çalışan bireylerin finansal kaygı düzeyleri ile örgütsel destek algılarını anlamlı biçimde etkilediği gösterilmiştir. Çalışanların algıladıkları örgütsel desteğin artmasının finansal tehdit algısını anlamlı ve olumsuz yönde etkilediği ortaya koyulmuştur. Diğer taraftan finansal tehditin finansal kaygı üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı bir etkisi olduğu gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca demografik değişkenlere göre finansal tehdit, finansal kaygı ve örgütsel destek algısı davranışlarında anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak mevcut araştırma finansal tehdit ve kaygının iş yaşamına etkilerini ortaya koyarak hem literatüre katkı sağlamış hem de örgütler için uygulanabilir öneriler sunmuştur.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT AND FINANCIAL ANXIETY: THE ROLE OF FINANCIAL THREAT

Öz

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among individuals' perceived level of financial threat, perceptions of organizational support, and levels of financial anxiety. During data collection, a survey form containing demographic questions and scales measuring financial threat, financial anxiety, and perceived organizational support was administered to 518 working participants. In the data analysis, the relationships among the variables of financial threat, financial anxiety, and perceived organizational support were examined using independent-samples t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and regression analysis. Furthermore, whether these variables differed based on demographic factors was analyzed. The findings demonstrated that the financial threat process significantly affects employees' financial anxiety levels and perceptions of organizational support. It was revealed that increasing employees' perceived organizational support significantly and negatively affects their perception of financial threat. Conversely, financial threat has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on financial anxiety. Furthermore, significant differences were identified in financial threat, financial anxiety, and perceived organizational support behaviors based on demographic variables. In conclusion, the current research has contributed to the literature by revealing the effects of financial threat and anxiety on business life and has offered practical recommendations for organizations.
