Grupla çalışma psikolojik danışman eğitiminde kazandırılması öngörülen temel yeterlik alanlarından biridir Ülkemizde grupla çalışma yeterliği rehberlik ve psikolojik danışma RPD lisans programlarında çeşitli dersler aracılığıyla kazandırılmaktadır Ege Üniversitesi RPD lisans programında psikolojik danışman adaylarına grupla çalışma yeterliğinin kazandırılması amacıyla grup uygulaması ve süpervizyonu kapsamında bir grup liderliği modeli geliştirilmiştir Bu araştırmada ilk olarak geliştirilmiş olan bu modelin detaylı olarak tanıtılması amaçlanmıştır Daha sonra ise psikolojik danışman adaylarının bu modele ilişkin görüşlerinin alınması amaçlanmıştır Bu amaç doğrultusunda 2008 2009 öğretim yılında yapılandırılmış bir form aracılığıyla bu modelle eğitim alan psikolojik danışmanlardan modele ilişkin görüşleri alınmıştır Elde edilen nitel bulgulara göre roller süpervizyon ve öneriler olmak üzere üç tema ortaya çıkmıştır Bulgular literatür eşliğinde tartışılmış ve grup lideri eğitime ilişkin öneriler sunulmuştur
