Öz

Bir annenin bebeğine sevgiyle bağlanması, çocuğun sağlıklı büyüme ve gelişimini teşvik eden en önemli öğelerden biridir. Çocuğun yaşadığı ilk bağlanma deneyimi daha sonra yaşayacağı bağlanma deneyimleri için temel oluşturur. Eğer anne ile bebek arasında yaşamın ilk iki yılında güvenli bağlanmayı başarmada gerekli durumlar karşılanamazsa, bebek emosyonel, sosyal, fiziksel, zihinsel ve dil gelişimi problemleri yaşar. Maternal bağlanmada başarısızlıkların yaşandığı durumlarda bebek, ihmal ve istismar açısından da risk altındadır

MATERNAL AND PATERNAL ATTACHMENT AND THE ROLE OF NURSE

Öz

A mother’s affectionate attachment to her infant is recognized as a major contributor to the child’s healthy growth and development. The child’s initial attachment experiences lay the foundation fort he development of all subsequent attachments. If an infant grows up with a mother who does not provide conditions necessary for secure attachment to be accomplished, he or she may be developmentally affected and at risk of developmental delays in areas such as emotional, social, cognitive, and linguistic skills. When maternal-infant attachment are impaired, the child is at risk of child abuse and neglect
