Öz
Araştırma, Manisa Ruh Sağlığı ve Hastalıklar/ Hastanesi'nde hemşirelerin çeşitli ruh hastalarına karşı tutumlarını saptamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Veriler görüşme tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Görüşmeler yan yapılandırılmış olup. teketek görüşme şeklinde yapılmıştır. Elde edilen yerlerin değerlendirilmesiyle, hemşirelerin hastalarına karşı yeterince, uygun ve terapötik tutum göstermedikleri görülmiiştür.

The purpose of this study was to examine to attitudes of the nurses against to mentally The data was collected frorn nurses N=59 Manisa Mental Hospital by use of Savaşır's attitude forms in 1984. When the data was analyzed. we were aware of these : 1. The nurses haven'te enough theoretical and practical knowledge about different mentally ills. 2. The nurses haven't enough exhibited therapeutie attitudes to the patients. Therefore, some implieations were suggested; - The nurses must be ehosen according to their personalities and their motivations to work of this fields. - The nurses must be giyen a training program before they begin to work. - The nurses must have in-servise edueation and they must be süpervised
