Movies, which are seen as beneficial in providing insights into significant life issues and have consequently become therapeutic tools, are inevitably employed by social work professionals striving to contribute to people's well-being. On the other hand, matters such as death, grief, and infant loss are life events that social work practitioners may encounter, regardless of their specialization. Movies centered around these subjects offer a rich content for professionals and their clients alike. In this study, through an examination of the film "Pieces of a Woman" which focuses on baby loss and the grieving process, the aim is to present a qualitative analysis of the experience of being a mother coping with the loss of a child, and to contribute this analysis as a resource to the literature. It is believed that the findings derived from the analysis of the film can assist social workers in this field.
