APPLICATION OF BIBLIOTHERAPHY METHODS BY SCHOOL COUNSELOR AND TEACHERS IN SCHOOL SETTING

Öz

Abstract
Bibliotheraphy is a very popular concept especially in mental health counseling. However, the integration of this method into class activities and utilization in school settings is quite new. The purpose of this paper is to investigate possible utilization of this methods in schools with teaching materials and methods. In this text, Bibliotheraphy is defined, the process of bibliotheraphy is explained, the important points in implementation is pointed out, and finally the benefits, advantages and limitations explained with the recent literature reviews. This paper aimed at to be a guideline and to familiarize the psychological counselors and teacher who may want to employ this method in their class activities. Therefore, students and clintee words are interchangeably used for each other.

Öz

Öz
Bibloterapi yönetiminin özellikle ruh sağlığı alanında oldukça popüler bir yeri vardır. Bu yöntemin okullarda kullanılması ve ders etkinlikleriyle bütünleştirilmesi ise oldukça yeni bir yaklaşımdır. Bu yazının amacı biblioterapi yönteminin okullarda ve ders etkinlikleri çerçevesinde nasıl kullanıldığının incelenmesidir. Öncelikle biblioterapi yönteminin tanımı yapılmış, bu yöntemin uygulanmasındaki sürece bakılmış, uygulanırken dikkat edilmesi gereken özelliklere yer verilmiş ve biblioterapi yönteminin yararlı yönleri ve sınırlılıkları tartışılmıştır. Bu makale biblioterapi yöntemini kullanmak isteyen psikolojik danışmanlar ve öğretmenler için bir rehber olması düşünülerek yazılmıştır. Bu nedenle çalışmada danışan ve öğrenci kelimeleri birbirinin yerine geçebilecek şekilde kullanılmıştır.
