SYSTEMIC SOCIAL WORK AS A PRACTICE METHOD

Öz

In recent years, the concept of system, which has been used as an important analysis method in social sciences as well as natural and physical sciences, has become one of the dominant theories sought in the social work discipline. Systemic social work; It is an application method related to systems theory that evaluates individuals' attitudes and behaviors with a systemic approach. While systemic social work is based on qualitative diversity and the principle that there is no single truth, it assumes that people cooperate with each other and depend on various social systems in different ways to fulfill their needs and desires or reduce their problems. Based on this assumption, this study aims to show how systemic social work can contribute to social work practice as an application method. The study “What is the contribution of systemic social work to the social work profession?” Since it is structured around the question, the study introduces the basic concepts of systemic thought and systemic practice and associates them with systemic social work practice.

BİR UYGULAMA YÖNTEMİ OLARAK SİSTEMİK SOSYAL HİZMET

Öz

Son yıllarda doğa ve fen bilimlerinin yanı sıra sosyal bilimlerde de önemli bir analiz yöntemi olarak kullanılan sistem kavramı, sosyal hizmet disiplininde aranılan başat kuramlardan biri haline gelmiştir. Sistemik sosyal hizmet; bireylerin tutum ve davranışlarını sistemik yaklaşımla değerlendiren, sistem kuramıyla ilişkili bir uygulama yöntemidir. Sistemik sosyal hizmet, nitelik olarak çeşitliliğe ve tek bir gerçeğin olmadığı ilkesine dayanırken insanların ihtiyaç ve arzularını yerine getirmek veya sorunlarını azaltmak için birbirleriyle iş birliği içerisinde ve çeşitli sosyal sistemlere farklı şekillerde bağımlı olduklarını varsaymaktadır. Bu varsayımdan hareketle bu çalışmada sistemik sosyal hizmetin sosyal hizmet uygulamasına bir uygulama yöntemi olarak nasıl katkı sunabileceğinin gösterilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma “Sistemik sosyal hizmetin sosyal hizmet mesleğine katkısı nedir?” sorusu üzerine yapılandırıldığı için çalışmada sistemik düşünce ve sistemik uygulamadaki temel kavramlar tanıtılmakta ve sistemik sosyal hizmet uygulamasıyla ilişkilendirilmektedir.
