What is Scientific Progress?

Some theses were put forwarded to understand and explain the nature of scientific progress, but still have been debated since the second half of the twentieth century. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to try to understand and explain nature of scientific progress. For this purpose, in this study, firstly it has been examined theory of scientific progress and then it has been tried to developed a possible answer.

BİLİMSEL İLERLEME NEDİR?

Öz

XX. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren bilimsel ilerlemenin doğasını anlamaya ve açıklamaya yönelik birtakım tezler ileri sürülmüşse de halen bu tezler tartışılmaktadır. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmanın amacı bilimsel ilerlemenin doğasını anlamaya ve açıklamaya çalışmaktır. Bu maksatla çalışmamızda öncelikle bilimsel ilerleme teorileri incelenmiş, daha sonra olanaklı bir yanıt geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır.
