Bu araştırmada Avrupa
Birliği Erasmus+ Karma Okul Eğitimi programı kapsamında yürütülen
"Strategies for Talented and Gifted Pupils' Teachers" başlıklı
Türkiye, Almanya, Çekya ve İtalya’nın ortaklığındaki proje gereğince okul
öncesi öğretmenleri için hazırlanan anket formları kullanılarak, kapsayıcı okul öncesi eğitim ortamlarında
öğretmenlerinin üstün yetenekli/zekalı ve tipik gelişim gösteren çocukların
bireysel yetenek, ilgi ve becerilerini belirlemek ve geliştirmek,
motivasyonlarını arttırmak üzere yaptıkları çalışmaların incelenmesi
amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu ortak ülkelerin her birinden 50
olmak üzere toplam 200 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda bütün
ülkelerdeki öğretmenlerin çocukların bireysel yeteneklerini belerileme ve
geliştirme konusunda daha çok çocukların bilişsel gelişimleri ve akademik
becerilerini dikkate aldıkları belirlenmiştir.
