Audience Response System (ARS) is a communication tool that allows students to respond using keypads to have more efficient and effective learning environment. The aim of this study was to examine the usage and contribution of ARS to classroom environment. For this aim a case study was carried out with undergraduate students in spring of 2007-2008 using an ARS kit. ARS usage variations were ensured by different activities lasted sixteen hours. The data related with views and perceptions of students were gathered and analyzed with qualitative and quantitative (Mix) methods. Findings show that ARS has some advantages like providing high motivation- attentiveness, active interaction, effective communication and instantly feedback.
