Öz
The developing technology has been building more and more an entangled structure with the human life day by day. It is almost impossible to find any area that has no interaction with technology. This entangled structure is changing the socio-pscycological state of man and this change finds himself a reflection on art, literature and philosophy. Like the effect of technology on human life, also its nature, aim, process, meaning, ethic and estetic aspects are one of the main problematics to deal in the 21. century. As one of the main concepts that came on argument the “Philosopy of Technology”, althought this name is not used till 19. century, has been handled by early philosophers on their view of technology on their era. This line of thought can be traced till ancient greek. In this study some ideas of ancient greek philosophers about philosophy of technology will be reviewed

Öz
Gelişen teknoloji insan hayatı ile gün geçtikçe daha girift bir yapı oluşturmaktadır. Bugün teknolojinin etkisini göstermediği bir alan bulmak neredeyse imkânsızdır. Bu girift yapı, insanın sosyo-psikolojik durumunu değiştirmekte ve bu değişiklik sanat, edebiyat ve düşünce dünyasında yankılar bulmaktadır. Teknolojinin insan üzerindeki etkisi kadar teknolojinin doğası, amacı, süreçleri, anlamı, ahlaki ve estetik boyutu vb. Yirmi birinci yüzyılın dikkat çeken sorunsalları arasındadır. Son yüzyılın tartışmaya açılan önemli kavramlarından olan “Teknoloji Felsefesi”, bu isim on dokuzuncu yüzyıla kadar telaffuz edilmemiş olsa da daha önce yaşamış düşünürler tarafından kendi dönemlerinin teknoloji algısı çerçevesinde de gündeme getirilmiştir. Bu düşüncenin köklerini Antik Yunan’a kadar izlemek mümkündür. Bu çalışmada Antik Yunan düşünürlerinin teknoloji felsefesi kapsamındaki düşüncelerinden bazıları incelenecektir.
