Araştırmada analize dahil edilen çalışmalar 1983-2024 yılları arasında Web of Science’da yayınlanan “strategic change” and (health or healthcare or hospital) terimleri ile sınırlandırılmış 175 makaleyi kapsamaktadır.

The aim of this study is to examine the concept of strategic change in the healthcare sector in terms of bibliometric indicators and to analyze the content of the studies. In this context, a bibliometric analysis was conducted to evaluate the strategic change studies in the healthcare sector. The studies included in the analysis encompass 175 articles published between 1983-2024 in the Web of Science, limited to the terms "strategic change" and (health or healthcare or hospital). According to the findings of the research, the highest number of publications occurred in 2015. The countries with the most publications were identified as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, respectively. The most frequently recurring keywords were found to be strategic change, organizational change, and healthcare. Based on the results, concepts such as leadership, implementing strategic change, innovation, change management, and organizational culture stand out, in connection with the most used keywords. The most cited authors were identified as Denis Jean-Louis, Langley Ann, and Lamothe Lise. In conclusion, this study highlights the concepts that support strategic change and are related to improving implementation. Designing more in-depth studies related to initiating and implementing strategic change in the healthcare sector and healthcare institutions is crucial for contributing to the literature.
