This study conceptually examines the Anti-Foundation Axiom and the Axiom of Choice within the structural, epistemological, and ethical dimensions of digital and physical information systems. The Anti-Foundation Axiom highlights the cyclical and contextual structuring of information, while the Axiom of Choice reveals the guiding role of selection mechanisms in information access and meaning-making processes. The study analyzes the tension between hyperlinked structures and algorithmic selection systems in digital environments and the institutional regulations shaping physical information systems. It argues that the sustainability of information architectures depends on balancing cyclical contextuality with structured choice dynamics. The contextual cyclicality offered by AFA and the structuring logic of AC provide both theoretical and practical contributions to fields such as AI-assisted knowledge curation, digital archiving, and ethical data governance—particularly in modeling information patterns and decision-making processes. In this context, the Anti-Foundation and Choice Axioms are reinterpreted not merely as mathematical assumptions but as ontological and normative compasses for contemporary information architectures. This study aims to conceptually reveal the theoretical and practical potential of axiomatic approaches within information systems.
