Adaptation of the Inclusive Leadership Scale into Turkish

Öz

The purpose of this study is to translate and validate the “Inclusive Leadership Scale” originally developed by Al-Atwi and Al-Hassani into
the Turkish language. The adaptation process of the scale involved administering the questionnaire to 250 teachers employed in public
schools in the Gebze district of Kocaeli province. The data collected from the participants were analyzed utilizing statistical software, SPSS
and AMOS. The results of the analyses indicated that the translated version of the scale demonstrated similar validity and reliability to the
original version, thereby suggesting that the scale is a valid and reliable tool for data collection.

Öz

Araştırmanın amacı, Al-Atwi ve Al-Hassani tarafından geliştirilmiş olan “Kapsayıcı Liderlik Ölçeğinin” Türkçeye uyarlanmasıdır. Ölçeğin
uyarlama aşamasında Kocaeli İli Gebze ilçesinde kamu okullarında görev yapan 250 öğretmenden anket tekniği kullanılarak veriler
toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS ve AMOS programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Geçerlik ve güvenirliğine yönelik analizler
sonucunda elde edilen verilerin Kapsayıcı Liderlik ölçeğinin özgün hali ile benzerlik gösterdiği ve ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir bir veri
toplama aracı olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
