Semantic Data Definition For National Spatial Data Infrastructure

Öz

In Turkey, the establishment of National Spatial Data Infrastructure NSDI is to be on the agenda. Undoubtedly, the need of national and local SDI will quickly increase that the governing bodies, decision and work manufacturers adopt the styles of their equivalents in the advanced countries. The technologies which are still in use for technologic infrastructure of any SDI are “Syntactic Web” Technologies but in the near feature, it is expected that these technologies will be “Semantic Web” technologies. In this study which is a source of inspiration of this fact, “Semantic definition” which is the one of the requirements for establishing the any SDI with SWT, is handled. It is defined what requirements need to be met in order to define semantics of the data of institutions and parties which will take place in NSDI and is discussed how these requirements can be met.

Ulusal Konumsal Veri Altyapısı İçin Semantik Veri Tanımlama

Öz

Ülkemizde Ulusal Konumsal Veri Altyapısı UKVA ’nın kurulması, çok geç kalınmış olmakla birlikte, gündemdedir. Hiç kuşkusuz, Ülkemiz yönetim organlarının, karar ve “iş” üreticilerinin ileri ülkelerdeki eşdeğerlerinin tarzlarını benimsemesi ile Ulusal ve yerel ölçekteki KVA’lara olan gereksinim hızla artacaktır. Herhangi bir KVA’nın teknolojik altyapısı için halen kullanımda olan teknolojiler, “Sözdizimsel Web” teknolojileri olmakla birlikte, yakın gelecekte bu teknolojilerin, “Semantik Web” teknolojileri SWT olması öngörülmektedir. Bu gerçeğin ilham kaynağı olduğu bu çalışmada, herhangi bir KVA’nın SWT ile gerçekleştirilebilmesinin gereklerinden biri olan, “semantik tanımlama” ele alınmıştır. UKVA’da yer alacak kurum ya da tarafların, verilerini semantik olarak tanımlayabilmeleri için hangi gereksinimlerin karşılanması gerektiği belirlenmiş ve bunların nasıl karşılanabileceği irdelenmiştir
