Human resource management calls for managers of various organizations to
understand various concepts that are crucial for the success of the organization
as a whole. It is a well-known and largely accepted phenomenon that people are
the most important resource that an organization can have. In order to utilize
this resource by means of getting the best out of employees, it is crucial to
understand the notions of employee satisfaction, organizational commitment and
the relationship that exists between the two. This is a research conducted under
Istanbul Aydin University that was designed with the primary aim of analyzing
the relationship between employee satisfaction and organizational commitment.
