E-LİDERLİK: E- LİDERLİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN İNCELENMESİNE YÖNELİK BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Öz

Bilgi teknolojilerinde meydana gelen hızlı değişimleri ve küreselleşmenin ortaya çıkardığı dinamikleri yansıtan yeni ekonomik ortamda birçok işletme bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri aracılığı ile faaliyetlerini yerine getirmektedir. Bu işletmelerin liderleri ise sosyal etkileşim sürecinde elektronik kanallardan yararlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada liderlik sürecinde elektronik kanallardan yararlanan liderlerle (e-lider) liderlik sürecinde elektronik kanallardan yararlanmayan (geleneksel lider) liderlerin önem verdikleri liderlik özellikleri ve davranışları incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular e-liderlerin; öz güven, yaratıcılık, empati, risk alma, esneklik, küresel düşünce, bilgi paylaşımı ve vizyon belirleme gibi liderlik özellik, davranış ve becerilerine geleneksel liderlerden daha fazla önem verdiklerini göstermektedir.
