Sığırlarda Genomik Seleksiyon

Öz

Bu derlemenin amacı, sığırlarda genomik seleksiyonun tarihsel gelişimini ve önemini ortaya koymaktır. İnsanlar yüzyıllardır daha fazla verim elde etmeye çalışmaktadırlar. Bu amaçla hayvancılık endüstrisi geçtiğimiz yüzyılda yüksek genetik kapasiteye sahip inek ve boğaların yetiştirilmesi için birçok yeni biyoteknolojik yöntemden yararlanmıştır. Genomik seleksiyon, bu biyoteknolojik yöntemlerden biridir (belki de en önemlisi). Bu derlemede, genomik seleksiyon ve genomiği değerlendirmeye yönelik terimler tanıtılmaktadır
