SOSYAL, EKONOMİK VE ÇEVRESEL BOYUTLARLA SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİK VE SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR KALKINMA

Öz

Sürdürülebilir kalkınma kavramı, 1970’lerde, mevcut ekonomik kalkınma politikalarının tüm dünyada ekolojik olarak sürdürülebilir ve sosyal adalet sağlayan bir sitem için yeterli gelmemesi üzerine, sürekli ekonomik büyüme ve doğanın korunması arasında bir uzlaşma olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Önceleri çevresel konulardaki endişelere yanıt vermek için kullanılan sürdürülebilir kalkınma, zamanla sosyal ve ekonomik perspektifleri içerecek şekilde genişlemiştir. Böylece sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın, sosyal ve ekonomik meseleleri, ekolojik kaygılarla birleştirme çabası olduğu söylenebilir. Ancak, literatürde sürdürülebilir kalkınma ve sürdürülebilirlik kavramlarıyla ilgili ortak ve tek bir tanım bulunmamaktadır. Her iki kavram da, farklı bağlamlarda farklı yanıtlar için kullanılmaktadır. Bu makalede amaç, sürdürülebilirlik ve sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın sosyal, çevresel ve ekonomik boyutları hakkında geniş bir kavramsal çerçeve oluşturmaktır. Ayrıca makalede sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın tarihsel gelişimi de geniş bir şekilde anlatılmaktadır
