DÖNÜŞÜMSEL VE İŞLEMSEL LİDERLİK

Öz

Liderlik, takipçilerin kurumsal hedeflere yönelik tutum ve davranışlarını etkileyen önemli bir faktördür. Liderler,
kurumların vizyonunu belirler ve takipçileriyle ilişkiler kurarak performanslarını ve motivasyonlarını
arttırmalarını destekler. Liderlik, kurumsal başarı için temel anahtardır. Alanyazında birçok liderlik çeşidi
bulunmaktadır. Dönüşümsel liderlik, takipçilerin performanslarını beklentilerinin ötesine taşımak ve olağanüstü
sonuçlar almak için motive eder. Yüksek düzeyde koordinasyon ve işbirliği gerektirir. Diğer taraftan işlemsel
liderlik, ödül-ceza yaklaşımına, süreç ve kontrollere odaklanır. Katı bir yönetim yapısı gerektirir. Dolayısıyla
işlemsel liderlik işlerin nasıl yapıldığıyla ilgilenirken, dönüşümsel liderlik işlerin yapılması için çalışanların nasıl
motive edileceğiyle ilgilenir. Bu çalışma, işlemsel ve dönüşümsel liderlik kavramlarıyla ilgili geniş bir kavramsal
çerçeve oluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmada diğer liderlik türlerinden de bahsedilmiştir . Böylece
aralarındaki fark ve benzerlikler ve hangi durumlarda kullanıldıkları ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.
